What a great year, what a great joy,
so many tears, and smiles of hope.
When we started our walk,
as husband and wife,
we could not even picture,
what life could bring by.
But we knew our Savior,
His love and His plan,
And we know He still hold us,
on His righteous right hand.
When sickness and trouble came to our lives,
we went to our refuge and we didn’t give up…
Because deep in our hearts we felt the same peace,
that has brought us together, that won’t ever leave.
It’s the peace of our Lord that surrounds our lives,
Knowing that He blessed us, as husband and wife!
What an honor God gave me, when He gave me your love
What a happiness to have you as the best gift of all!
…“And the two shall become one”
Said our Almighty God,
So we will be together
‘Til dead set us apart!
